ā£ I originally made this recipe for my baby, but my older kids liked it so much that now I make it for the whole family.ā£ It is mild, creamy, sweet and satisfying. ā£ Eating healthy fats with fruit helps prevent blood sugar spikes, improves digestion, and tastes delicious.ā£ ā£ I find it very handy to have a miniature blender for sauces like this, as well as smoothies and gravies.ā£ ā£ Ingredientsā£ 2 apples, peeled and slicedā£ 1 tbsp. waterā£ 1 1/2 tsp coconut oilā£ Dash of cinnamon (optional)ā£ ā£ Steam apple slices until very soft, about 8 minutes. I use a steamer basket inside a small saucepan to do this.ā£ ā£ Add steamed apple slices, coconut oil, optional cinnamon, and water to blender and blend until smooth. Add a bit more water if necessary.ā£ ā£ Serve and enjoy!ā£
