⁣ I originally made this recipe for my baby, but my older kids liked it so much that now I make it for the whole family.⁣ It is mild, creamy, sweet and satisfying. ⁣ Eating healthy fats with fruit helps prevent blood sugar spikes, improves digestion, and tastes delicious.⁣ ⁣ I find it very handy to have a miniature blender for sauces like this, as well as smoothies and gravies.⁣ ⁣ Ingredients⁣ 2 apples, peeled and sliced⁣ 1 tbsp. water⁣ 1 1/2 tsp coconut oil⁣ Dash of cinnamon (optional)⁣ ⁣ Steam apple slices until very soft, about 8 minutes. I use a steamer basket inside a small saucepan to do this.⁣ ⁣ Add steamed apple slices, coconut oil, optional cinnamon, and water to blender and blend until smooth. Add a bit more water if necessary.⁣ ⁣ Serve and enjoy!⁣
