⣠I originally made this recipe for my baby, but my older kids liked it so much that now I make it for the whole family.⣠It is mild, creamy, sweet and satisfying. ⣠Eating healthy fats with fruit helps prevent blood sugar spikes, improves digestion, and tastes delicious.⣠⣠I find it very handy to have a miniature blender for sauces like this, as well as smoothies and gravies.⣠⣠Ingredients⣠2 apples, peeled and sliced⣠1 tbsp. water⣠1 1/2 tsp coconut oil⣠Dash of cinnamon (optional)⣠⣠Steam apple slices until very soft, about 8 minutes. I use a steamer basket inside a small saucepan to do this.⣠⣠Add steamed apple slices, coconut oil, optional cinnamon, and water to blender and blend until smooth. Add a bit more water if necessary.⣠⣠Serve and enjoy!ā£
