Ingredients
- 2 to 3 tablespoons of fat (butter, lard, tallow, or )gee
- ½ Cabbage
- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 1 Sweet onions sliced
- A couple of cloves of garlic
- freshly ground pepper and salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 meat stock or bone broth
- Add the onion, sauté until the onion is translucent about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the garlic and sauté another minute.
- Add sliced sausage to the pan and sauté until slightly browned on both sides, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients butter, cabbage, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the cabbage with butter and seasonings.
