🪰 Natural Fly Spray Recipe (Essential Oil-Based)

Ingredients:

• 2 cups apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
• 1 cup water
• 1 tablespoon dish soap (natural, unscented – helps it stick to surfaces)
• 10 drops lavender essential oil
• 10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
• 10 drops citronella or lemongrass essential oil
• 10 drops peppermint essential oil

Instructions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle.
2. Shake well before each use.
3. Spray around doorways, barn areas, animal bedding, and directly on animals* (test on a small area first and avoid eyes/nose).

🪴 Optional Add-ins:

• 1 tsp olive oil or witch hazel (helps with adhesion and skin conditioning)
• 2 cloves of garlic (crushed) – for an extra punch (steep in vinegar first, then strain)

🐮 Notes:

• Safe for livestock like horses, cows, and goats when properly diluted.
• For dogs: test on a small patch of skin first; avoid use on cats (they are sensitive to many essential oils).
• Reapply every few hours, especially on hot or humid days.
