Baked Apples and Dates

Equipment

  • 1 Apple peeler
  • 1 Sharp Knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Saucepan

Ingredients

  • 1 Bag of apples
  • 10-15 Figs
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 Sticks Butter

Instructions

  • Clean and wash all the apples
  • Set the dates into the water to rehydrate
  • Slice and peel the apple into chunks (Set the peels and apple cores to the side)
  • Place all the apples, butter, and dates in the pan
  • Top off with water
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon to taste
  • Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes

*****We save strain the apple liquid and use the juice and top pancakes, waffles, and ice cream.
