  • Cast Iron skillet  or pan
  • Spatula


  • 2 Cups Sourdough starter
  • 3 or 4 Farm fresh eggs
  • 1 TSP Baking soda


  • Heat butter in the pan. DO NOT use butter sparingly
  • In a mixing bowl add the eggs, sourdough, and baking soda
  • Mix well
  • Scoop out in a small amount
  • Flip when bubbly
  • The pancakes are done when golden brown


Server with fruit, maple syrup, or a honey mixture. Leftovers work great with PBJ for lunch .
