Sourdough Waffles

- 1 Waffle Iron
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Mixing bowl
- 1 Fork
- 1 Ladle
Ingredients
- Butter, Lard, or Tallow
- 2 Cups Sourdough Starter
- 2 Eggs
- 2 TSP Baking Powder
- 2 TSP Mineral Salt
Instructions
- Heat the waffle iron up
- In a mixing bowl add the eggs
- Whisk the eggs until fluffy
- Add salt, baking soda, and sourdough
- Mix well and you should see air bubbles the batter will become fluffy
- Oil the waffle iron with butter, lard, or tallow
- Ladle the batter evenly on the waffle iron
- Shut the waffle iron and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Top with fresh fruit and honey or syrup
